Calendar of Events

CarinGroup (Bible study) meets each Monday at 7:00pm at the home of Jim and Ruth Grove.  All are welcome to attend.  If you are interested, please contact Kim at the church at 301-733-3482.

November 8th there will be candy making here at the church.  Please call the church office for more information.

We are having an ingathering of food in October and November!  Please pick up a few items at the store each week to help those who worry about feeding their families

November 16th at 6:30, there will be an old fashioned hymn sing at the church, followed by a pie and ice cream social.

We are taking donations for our four military personnel for Christmas.  Some suggestions would be snacks, candy (minimal chocolate due to the heat), magazines, iTunes gift cards, phone cards, and items such as sanitary hand wipes, combs, etc.  Let's make them feel a little closer to home for the holidays!

We will be having a Secret Santa gift exchange during Advent.  If you would like to participate, please fill out a form in the back of the church and place it in the hat box.  You can sign up from now until November 14th!  Children are encouraged to participate!

Looking Ahead to the Holidays! 

Thanksgiving Eve service, November 26th at 7:00 pm.

On Sunday, December 21st, our Sunday school Christmas program will begin at 9:00.  We will then have a combined service at 10:30, featuring the Choir Cantata "Celebrate the Season".  After the service, we will have a Christmas potluck downstairs!  Please mark your calendars to join us, and bring your family and friends!

The Praise band rehearses are Thursdays nights at 7:30 pm.

Choir rehearsals are Wednesday nights at  7:00pm.

Training for Lutheran Week at Reach is October 21-22 from 6:30-8:00pm.  If you are planning to help at the shelter during Lutheran Week, you will need to attend the training.

The church office is opened from 8:30-12:30 Monday through Friday.
